A recent collaboration with the Contra Costa Suzuki Strings, directed by Laurie Carlson: "Music on a Mission" is their endeavor to help establish and maintain a music program in the town of Teupacenti, Honduras by seeking donations of instruments, bows, strings, music stands, etc., for Proyecto Juda. Two years ago the young musicians of CCSS traveled to Teupacenti, where they met and played with their Honduran counterparts, and as I write this, Laurie is back in Teupacenti to deliver more donated instruments and supplies. I wrote a piece for them, "Meditacion y Danza," with parts arranged so that all the youngsters, whether beginners or more advanced, could play it. https://youtu.be/E_XRvk65ZPU; https://www.facebook.com/ContraCostaSuzukiStrings/
